I just finished rereading Ed Mylett’s The Power of One More, and it really has me thinking.

The whole message of the book is simple, but powerful. It is not always about making some huge change or completely reinventing your life. Sometimes it is about doing one more thing. One more follow-up. One more conversation. One more promise kept to yourself. One more decision that moves you closer to the person you want to be.

I think that is why it is sitting with me so much right now.

So many of us get to a place where we know something needs to shift. Maybe it is our health, our energy, our confidence, our business, our purpose, or just the way we are showing up for ourselves every day. And I think sometimes we make that shift feel bigger and harder than it needs to be. We tell ourselves we need a perfect plan, a fresh start, more time, more motivation, or a completely different version of ourselves before we can begin.

But maybe that is not true.

Maybe change starts with one better choice. One honest look at where we are. One walk. One healthy meal. One uncomfortable conversation. One moment where we stop talking ourselves out of what we already know we need.

What if you are not done yet? What if there is still more available to you? What if the next version of your life does not require you to have it all figured out, but just requires you to take the next right step?
