Fresh finds in Miami

I wish I had snapped a picture before I started digging in…
But this bowl from Naked Farmer was too good to wait.
I grabbed it to go and brought it with me to the Brightline station in Miami. It’s kind of a little routine I’ve started when I head into the city for a dental appointment. Yes, even the dentist has turned into a food adventure.
Here’s what was in my bowl…
Dark meat chicken
Roasted sweet potatoes
Kale
Couscous
All super fresh, simple, and delicious.
If you’re not familiar, Naked Farmer is a Florida-based chain that focuses on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Their menus actually change with the seasons depending on what’s fresh and available, which I love.
It’s one of those fast casual spots where you can eat in or grab something to go. I’ve been to a bunch of these types of places lately, and this one stands out not just for the quality of the food but for the price.
This bowl came in at $18. Not cheap, but definitely more reasonable than some of the $30+ salads I’ve had recently at fast casual restaurants. (Yes… $35 for a salad with protein on top. I still can’t get over it.)
If you’re ever near one of their locations and looking for something fast and healthy, Naked Farmer is worth checking out.
