The Station on Kings in Lewes, Delaware | A Hidden Gem at the Beach

If you find yourself at the Delaware beaches, put The Station on Kings in Lewes on your list. This place is such a hidden gem. Everything feels incredibly fresh and thoughtfully made. I had an omelet that was delicious, Scott had a sandwich that was equally good, and the bakery case is filled with fresh-made breads and pastries that make it very hard to walk by without ordering something.

But it’s so much more than a place to eat. There’s a beautiful garden center outside and the cutest shop filled with home goods, gifts and things you don’t see everywhere. Add in really good coffee, and I could have happily spent a lot more time there.

My one tip: if you go on a Saturday morning, be prepared to wait for a table. We were hungry and had somewhere else we needed to be, so we ended up taking everything to go and eating breakfast in the car. Not exactly the leisurely breakfast I had pictured, but it was so good I’d absolutely go back.

If you’re heading to Lewes, this one is worth a stop.
