Over the past few weeks, we’ve zigzagged from Florida ➡️ Maryland ➡️ NYC ➡️ New Jersey ➡️ back to Maryland ➡️ and now back to Florida. And no, we’re not nomads (yet)… we’re just in a season of helping our kids launch while trying to be intentional about how we land, too.
We loaded up a U-Haul and moved Jake from his junior-year apartment into his new place for senior year, furniture and all. And since I had stashed his entire childhood bedroom in that junior-year space while he was abroad, we also spent time sorting through that chapter of life.
It’s been full of change, uncertainty, and a lot of moments outside our comfort zone. We’ve had some cranky days, some anxiety, some late-night rethinks, and some laughs we’ll remember forever.
We sold our house.
We’re living in transition.
We’re exploring new possibilities.
We’re shaping what comes next.
It’s not perfectly planned… but it is intentionally unfolding.
And maybe that’s the adventure: creating space for what’s next, even when you don’t quite know what it is yet. 💭
