Black Evvy box with a Women's Complete Probiotic jar on top, on a striped carpet; text reads Open here to close the gender health gap.

One of the companies I came home from Dave Asprey’s biohacking conference most excited about is Evvy.

Evvy is an at-home vaginal microbiome test and care platform. The idea is that instead of guessing what is going on “down there,” you can actually get more information about your own vaginal microbiome. I know this isn't typical brunch conversation, but maybe it should be. So many women deal with itching, dryness, recurring infections, odor, discomfort, UTIs, fertility questions, menopause changes, or just a general feeling that something is off. And too often, we are either embarrassed to ask, brushed off, or given a one-size-fits-all answer.

That is what makes Evvy so interesting to me. They are looking at the vaginal microbiome in a more personalized way, and their platform can help connect women with clinician-reviewed results and more tailored next steps when appropriate.

Women’s health has been under-researched for far too long, and I am excited to see more innovation and more honest conversation around parts of our bodies we were never really taught how to understand.
