A Day in Miami’s Most Creative District

Updated: Aug 21

If you ever find yourself in Miami, make sure to carve out time to explore Wynwood. It’s one of those neighborhoods that just makes you want to walk around with a coffee in hand and a camera ready. The streets are bursting with vibrant murals and colorful spray painted art. It’s basically an outdoor museum. You can even hop on a guided golf cart tour that takes you to the most iconic pieces, which is great if you’re with older adults or just want to beat the heat.

Scott and I had the best time adventuring through two experiences in Wynwood, and both were so worth it.

First stop: The Paradox Museum

This place plays with your mind in the best way. It’s full of hands-on exhibits, brain-bending illusions, and photo ops that will make you laugh out loud. We took some hilarious pictures here, and it’s definitely family-friendly, fun for all ages, and fully air-conditioned (bonus).

Next up: The Wynwood Walls

This is the one you’ve probably seen on Instagram. It’s an open-air gallery showcasing some of the most incredible street art from global artists. It’s inspiring and bold, and while part of it is indoors, most of it is outside. So plan accordingly for heat or weather. But wow… it’s absolutely worth it.

Whether you’re going with kids, friends, or looking for something different, both places are playful, immersive, and perfect for making memories.
