Garden of Eden Key West: Our Visit to a Clothing-Optional Bar

Why does it always seem like the people you’d hope might take their clothes off and the people actually taking their clothes off are 2 entirely different groups?
I know. That’s not politically correct. But it’s what went through my head.
In Key West, our group ended up at Garden of Eden, a clothing-optional bar. Some knew what to expect, others got a pretty funny surprise.
People were undressing to get onto the dance floor. Down to their socks.
For some reason, the socks made the whole thing even stranger.
These people were clearly comfortable and having a great time. Meanwhile, I was trying to make sure nobody accidentally rubbed up against me. I just wanted to leave and go take a shower.
We stayed about 15 minutes. It was fun, and definitely a bonding experience. We now have some of the same images permanently imprinted in our heads. Unforgettable, whether we’d like to forget them or not.
We’ll always have Key West, along with a few things we can never unsee.
