Finding Strength in the Struggle

Growth usually happens in the hard seasons… not when life is smooth, but when you want to hit pause, run away, or just quit.
Maybe you’re also in a season of “doing hard things”... packing, letting go of old memories, juggling family and work, or just trying to keep your head above water. Some days, the overwhelm creeps in and it’s tempting to shut down. Motivation comes after you start, not before. Sometimes it’s about taking one small step forward, even if it feels tiny.
Discomfort is a sign we’re stretching, not shrinking. Deepak Chopra puts it another way… struggle can actually open the door to growth if we let it.
A few reminders for anyone going through it...
Growth isn’t always obvious... it can be messy, emotional, and uncomfortable.
Sometimes it’s just about doing the next right thing, over and over.
Get curious, not critical
Focus on one thing you can do next, not everything at once.
Let go of needing it to look perfect.
Borrow a little belief from the people around you when yours wobbles.
Confidence and resilience aren’t built by avoiding the hard stuff. They’re built by showing up, even with shaky hands and a messy mind.
If you’re in your own “hard thing” season right now, you’re not alone. We don’t have to have it all together to keep moving forward.
And as Mel Robbins says... “You are one decision away from a completely different life.”
Sometimes, it’s just about deciding to keep going... one small, imperfect step at a time.
