Finding My Voice: From Sidelines to Center Stage

If you had told me years ago that I’d one day be standing on a stage in front of hundreds of people, sometimes even thousands, talking about health, coaching, mindset, and business… I would’ve laughed. Public speaking was never something I sought out. In fact, I used to avoid it.
But something happens when you step into work that’s aligned with your purpose. Health coaching found me at a time when I was craving direction, and what started as helping a few people quietly behind the scenes has grown into something so much bigger.
Little by little, I started sharing more. First on social media. Then on team calls. Eventually, I found myself leading trainings and speaking at events. And somewhere along the way, I stopped overthinking it and just started showing up.
Every time I speak, I grow… my confidence, my communication, my clarity. This last time, I realized I didn’t even have butterflies. I wasn’t 100% comfortable, but I also wasn’t uncomfortable. That feels like progress. That is growth.
And I know I’m not the only one. Whether it’s speaking on stage, starting a health journey, launching a business, or having a hard conversation… growth usually lives on the other side of doing something that stretches us.
I’ve learned that you don’t have to feel fearless to move forward. You just have to care enough about what you’re doing to keep going. Coaching gave me that and it’s what keeps me growing.
