15-Minute Strength Training for Menopausal Women

I have been thinking a lot about the idea of “one more” from Ed Mylett’s book, The Power of One More.
One more choice.
One more rep.
One more small promise you keep to yourself.
I think this applies so well to movement, especially in midlife. So many of us get stuck in all-or-nothing thinking.
If I can’t get to the class, I won’t do anything.
If I don’t have an hour, it doesn’t count.
If I can’t do the full workout, why bother?
But 15 minutes counts, especially when it comes to strength training. In menopause, strength training is not just about burning calories. It is about keeping muscle, supporting metabolism, protecting bones, improving balance, and feeling strong in your body.
And most of us can find 15 minutes.
15 minutes before a shower.
15 minutes while dinner is cooking.
15 minutes before you sit down and lose all motivation.
It does not have to be fancy or destroy you. It just has to be something you do consistently.
Because 15 minutes 3 times a week adds up.
Not all or nothing.
Just one more.
